Manama, Jan. 30 (BNA): Parliament Speaker Ahmed bin Salman Al-Musallam affirmed the depth of the strong fraternal relations between Bahrain and Algeria, citing the continuous cooperation and coordination between the two countries in various development fields. .
He also praised Algeria’s hosting of the seventeenth session of the Conference of the Union of Councils of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation, in which a Bahraini parliamentary delegation is participating.
The Muslim President’s remarks came during his meeting here today with the Algerian Ambassador to Bahrain, Abdelhamid Ahmed Khoja, and he reviewed with him ways to strengthen bilateral relations in all fields, especially parliamentary ones.
The Algerian ambassador expressed his thanks to the Speaker of the House of Representatives for his support for diplomatic work, and his keenness on effective partnership in parliamentary work.
He stressed that his country is looking forward to expanding the scope of bilateral partnerships to serve the interests of the two countries and the two brotherly peoples.
