Southern Police Director General: community partnership contributed to finding “Riffa child”

Manama, December 19 (BNA) The Director General of the Southern Governorate Police announced today, Sunday, the importance of a professional community partnership in finding the missing five-year-old child in Riffa.

His family reported the boy’s disappearance on December 18 at 2 pm. The directorate has taken the necessary measures, including notifying all the concerned directorates and forming a team. The boy was found 12 hours after the case was filed. He was in good health.

Legal action is being taken regarding the accident.

The Director-General expressed his sincere thanks and appreciation to the people of the governorate and users of social media for their cooperation. He said their contributions reflect the cohesion of the community.

He affirmed the directives of the Minister of Interior Staff Lt. Gen. Sheikh Rashid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa to move forward in strengthening the constructive community partnership between all segments of society to enhance security successes and efforts for security and stability.
