Manama, Dec. 6 (BNA): His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Ali bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, Governor of the Southern Region, today chaired the eleventh meeting of the Security Committee.
The meeting was also attended by Deputy Governor of the South, Brigadier General Issa Thamer Al-Dosari, Director General of Public Security Presidency Affairs Brigadier General Salman Muhammad Al-Zayed, and a number of officers.
His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Ali bin Khalifa Al Khalifa stressed the importance of community partnership to maintain security and intensify coordination in line with the directives of the Minister of Interior, Lieutenant General Sheikh Rashid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa.
He was briefed on the ongoing preparations ahead of Bahrain’s celebrations of national holidays, praising the Southern Governorate’s cooperation with the General Traffic Department.
The Southern Police Directorate made a presentation directing the intensification of awareness programs and campaigns to maintain security and enhance community partnership.
