Manama, Jan. 6 (BNA) The Governor of the South, His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Ali bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, chaired today the first meeting of the Security Committee for 2022, in the presence of his deputy, Brigadier General Thamer Al-Dosari, and a number of officers and senior officials.
His Highness the Emir of the South welcomed the attendees, stressing the great role of the Security Committee in implementing the directives of the Minister of Interior, Lt. Gen. Sheikh Rashid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, to enhance security and stability.
He praised the remarkable efforts made by the security services in enhancing security and safety throughout the southern governorate, pointing to the advanced level of cooperation between the southern governorate and security services.
During the meeting, His Excellency was briefed on the security committee’s report on last year’s statistics to assess the security situation in the southern governorate.
He praised the security readiness and cooperation with various security services to serve citizens throughout the governorate.
The Security Committee was also informed of the initiatives to be implemented in 2022 to enhance security and safety of people.
