Manama, Jan. 17 (BNA) The Governor of the South, His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Ali bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, chaired the first meeting of the Coordination Council in its third session for 2022, in the presence of members representing various government agencies. .
His Highness the Southern Prince welcomed the attendees, stressing that continuous communication with citizens is an approach to communicate with them and meet their needs in cooperation with the competent authorities. He pointed out that achieving the aspirations of citizens is in line with the directives of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and the support of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister.
His Highness the Southern Governor was also briefed on the development projects and plans that are being implemented throughout the governorate, including the maintenance and restoration of mosques in preparation for the holy month of Ramadan. In this context, he ordered the formation of a joint working team with the Directorate of Sunni Endowments to assess the conditions of mosques in the southern governorate and ensure their maintenance.
His Highness the Southern Governor was also briefed on the plans to develop many service facilities and the progress made in implementing various projects at the governorate level.
The attendees expressed their thanks and appreciation for the role of the Coordination Council headed by His Highness the Emir of the South in following up on various development projects aimed at achieving sustainable growth.
