Social Development Minister receives Salmabad Charitable Society members

Manama, Jan. 11 (BNA): The Minister of Social Development, Osama bin Ahmed Khalaf Al-Asfoor, met with the President of the Salmabad Charitable Society, Abdullah Hassan Abdul-Wahhab.

The meeting reviewed the developments of the association’s work, its most prominent achievements, the efforts of its members in community service, and its contribution to promoting charitable and humanitarian work in the Kingdom.

The minister affirmed the ministry’s keenness to enhance cooperation with all charitable and humanitarian associations that contribute to the development of volunteer work in Bahrain.

The Chairman of the Board of Directors praised the Ministry’s role in promoting continuous communication with charitable societies, stressing the association’s keenness to be an active partner in developing volunteer work in the Kingdom.
