Smile concludes summer program for heroic children

Manama, September 5 (BNA) The Smile Initiative, the initiative of the Bahrain Future Society for Youth that provides psychological and social support to children with cancer and their parents in the Kingdom, concluded its summer program aimed at developing the skills and talents of young people. Heroes, entertain them and help them develop their social and psychological skills.

The program was attended by Young Champions members between the ages of 4 and 15.

Activities were divided into classes that included crafts, arts, pottery coloring, story reading, cooking, movies, and outdoor recreational field trips.

The Smile Initiative’s summer program was supervised by its volunteers who took over the tasks of preparing educational and recreational activities for them. This year’s edition was sponsored by Inovest.

Member of the Board of Directors of the Future Youth Association and general supervisor of the summer program, Muhammad Al-Sukari, said that this annual program aims to engage children in intellectual, cultural and creative activities that help them learn and grow during the summer vacation.

Al-Sukari indicated that the program receives a large number of participants and expressed his appreciation for the volunteer supervisors and INOVEST sponsorship.
