Cairo, Jan. 22 (BNA): Shura Council member and member of the Arab Parliament, Ali Abdullah Al-Aradi, affirmed that the directives of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa are the basis for supporting joint Arab action, as it is one of the national pillars of joint Arab action. This is what the Bahraini parliamentary diplomacy adhered to, noting that the legislative authority in the Kingdom places Arab and Islamic issues among its priorities in regional and global forums.
Al-Aradi, while taking the official oath as a member of the Arab Parliament during a meeting held under the chairmanship of Parliament Speaker Adel bin Abdul Rahman Al-Asoom, as part of the third session of the third legislative term of the Associated Press, stressed the importance of the role played by the Associated Press to serve the common interests of Arab countries and citizens.
He referred to the efforts made by the Arab Parliament to cooperate with relevant international parliamentary organizations to serve Arab issues, and confront fallacies and campaigns aimed at undermining Arab security and stability, or direct interference in the internal affairs of Arab countries.
He pledged to do his best, as a member of the AP, to contribute to further achievements.
