Manama, November 22 (BNA) The First Deputy Speaker of the Shura Council Jamal Muhammad Fakhro received today Sri Lankan Ambassador to the Kingdom of Bahrain Pradiba Sram.
Fakhro praised the advanced level reached by the relations between the two friendly countries and peoples in light of their common interest in strengthening them in various fields.
He pointed out the keenness of the two countries’ parliamentary delegations to cooperate and coordinate in international forums to serve common goals and interests.
Ambassador Pradiba Sram expressed her thanks to Jamal Fakhro for the Shura Council’s support for the close relations between the two friendly countries and their peoples.
She also commended the interest and care enjoyed by the Sri Lankan expatriate community in Bahrain.
