Manama, March 6 (BNA): The Speaker of the Shura Council, Ali bin Saleh Al-Saleh, a member of the Brazilian Senate and a member of the delegation of the Brazilian Parliament, received Iraja Silvestre Filho, who will participate in the work of the 146th General Assembly of the Shura Council. – Parliamentary Union (IPU) to be held in Bahrain from 11 to 15 March.
The President affirmed keenness to strengthen relations between Bahrain and Brazil and push joint diplomatic and parliamentary work towards more cooperation and coordination.
He praised the cooperation between Bahrain and Brazil, and the support provided by the two countries to expand and develop common interests for the benefit of the two countries and their friendly peoples.
Filho expressed his pride in the progress and prosperity Bahrain is witnessing, and praised the Kingdom’s hosting of the 146th session of the General Assembly of the Inter-Parliamentary Union, and the efforts made to prepare for the largest international parliamentary gathering.
