Manama, Mar. 12 (BNA): Shura Council Speaker Ali bin Saleh Al-Saleh affirmed the depth of relations between the Kingdom of Bahrain and the Kingdom of Morocco and their steady growth thanks to the care and support of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa. This came during his meeting today with the head of the Moroccan Shura Council, Yes Mayara, and his accompanying delegation, in the presence of the second deputy speaker of the Shura Council, Dr. Jihad Abdullah Al-Fadhel. The meeting was held on the sidelines of the 146th session of the General Assembly of the Inter-Parliamentary Union, which is being hosted by the Kingdom of Bahrain from 11 to 15 March.
The Speaker of the Shura Council praised the strong parliamentary relations between the two countries and the joint keenness to coordinate positions and exchange views on issues of common concern. He also praised the efforts of the head of the Moroccan Council of Advisors in strengthening parliamentary relations.
The head of the Moroccan Council of Advisors praised the role of the Bahraini parliamentary delegations in discussing key issues, and thanked the Kingdom of Bahrain for its distinguished hosting of the IPU meetings.
