Manama, Jan. 12 (BNA) The Speaker of the Shura Council, Ali bin Saleh Al-Saleh, received the Speaker of the Arab Shura Council, Adel Abdul Rahman Al-Asumi.
The President praised the initiatives and programs presented by the Arab Parliament to enhance cooperation and integration between legislative parliaments in Arab countries.
The meeting discussed the efforts of the Arab Parliament and emphasized its active role in unifying the aspirations of Arab countries and peoples.
Al-Saleh affirmed the council’s keenness to advance Arab parliamentary relations for more cooperation and exchange of experiences.
The President praised the important role played by the Shura Council in supporting Arab parliamentary work and its achievements, especially in regional and international parliamentary forums.
