Manama, October 3 (BNA) The Speaker of the Shura Council, Ali bin Saleh Al-Saleh, received Mahdi Abdullah, who presented him with a copy of the fifth part of the series Flavor of the Past.
The President praised the efforts made by Bahraini writers and researchers in documenting the Kingdom’s modern history and recording national events and occasions in Bahrain during the past decades.
And he valued Al-Mahdi’s literary and cultural contributions in writing and translating literature, books and stories.
Al-Mahdi expressed his appreciation to the Chairman of the Board of Directors for enacting legislation that protects intellectual property rights and encourages writers to continue literary and cultural work in various fields.
