Shura Chairman offers condolences over passing of HM Queen Elizabeth II

Manama, September 18 (BNA) The Speaker of the Shura Council, Ali bin Saleh Al-Saleh, offered his condolences to the royal family and the people of the United Kingdom after the death of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II.


He wished the United Kingdom further progress and prosperity, under the leadership of His Majesty Charles III, King of the United Kingdom and Northern Ireland, President of the Commonwealth.


While visiting the residence of British Ambassador to Bahrain Roderick Drummond. Today, Al-Saleh expressed her deep regret over the death of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, recalling the tremendous efforts she made for the advancement of her country over the past seven decades.


The Speaker of the Shura Council praised the sincere efforts made by Her Majesty the late Queen Elizabeth II to strengthen the friendly relations between Bahrain and the United Kingdom.


He stressed that the cooperation between the two kingdoms and the two friendly peoples will continue, wishing His Majesty King Charles III, the royal family of the United Kingdom and the friendly British people patience and consolation.
