Manama, Mar. 22 (BNA): Speaker of the Shura Council, Ali bin Saleh Al-Saleh, has sent congratulatory cables to Speaker of the Senate of Pakistan Muhammad Sadiq Sanjrani and Speaker of the National Assembly of Pakistan Raja Pervez Ashraf on the occasion of the National Day of Pakistan.
The Speaker of the Shura Council praised the deep-rooted Bahraini-Pakistani ties, expressing his keenness to strengthen parliamentary ties to unify visions towards issues of common concern.
The Saleh family wished them good health and happiness, and the people of Pakistan continued progress and prosperity.
He also sent a similar telegram to Pakistan’s ambassador to Bahrain, Muhammad Ayub.
