Manama, May 24 (BNA): Ali bin Saleh Al-Saleh, Speaker of the Shura Council, sent a cable of congratulations to Secretary-General of the Gulf Cooperation Council, Jassim Muhammad Al-Budaiwi, on the occasion of the 42nd anniversary of the founding of the Gulf Cooperation Council.
The Chairman of the Board of Directors praised the efforts of the GCC countries to achieve more progress in all sectors and ensure the stability and security of their member states, stressing the Council’s achievements in developing the economic, social, political and military work of the region.
He praised the continuous support of the GCC leaders to enhance cooperation between the GCC states.
