Sharjah’s celebration of Emirati culture sees massive turnout at Guadalajara International Book Fair 2022



Guadalajara on November 27 (BNA): The pavilion of the guest of honor in Sharjah at the 36th Guadalajara International Book Fair in Mexico, on the opening day, attracted hundreds of visitors, including authors and writers from all over the world.

The pavilion was decorated in the colors of the UAE national flag creating a vibrant festive atmosphere that fused history and traditions to revive the nation’s rich cultural heritage.

The Emirates News Agency stated that the immersive cultural experience that included live music and traditional performances provided insights into the literature, music, heritage and art of the UAE.

It attracted large crowds of visitors to the pavilion, which highlighted the experience and expertise of many cultural entities in the emirate.

Celebrating the Sharjah Cultural Project at the largest book fair in Latin America helped introduce visitors to the legacy and ongoing achievements of the thriving creative movement in the UAE and the Arab region in general.

The pavilion of the guest of honor in Sharjah, located at the main entrance to the book fair, served as a unique gateway to the cultural experience and common human values ​​that connect Arab and Latin cultures.

The heritage performances, musical performances and panel discussions hosted by the pavilion attracted huge numbers of Mexican and international visitors who were dazzled by the captivating display of cultural diversity from the UAE.
