Manama, March 23 (BNA) The Chairman of the National Council of Arts, Sheikh Rashid bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, stressed the importance of the role that the arts play in upgrading societies, and the upcoming focus on holding several art exhibitions as a basic platform. To display the intellectual, creative and artistic production of young people and artists.

Sheikh Rashid said: “Organizing exhibitions at this time faces many challenges, but we must move forward and cross our societies towards safety after all that the pandemic has left in the memory of people from different parts of the world.”

He told the Bahrain News Agency (BNA) at the opening of the third edition of the exhibition (On the): “The revival of art exhibitions is evidence of the return of life to normal and stability, and we must be optimistic about what awaits us as we move forward.” Wall Gallery, an event dedicated to promoting Bahrain’s artists to the wider community.

He added that the National Council of Arts will work to organize more art exhibitions and attract a broader and more diverse participation.

Sheikh Rashid said, “Exhibitions are an opportunity to display creative and artistic work and highlight the artistic energies of individuals, and we will support these exhibitions, whether they are for collective or individual works.”

For some artists, the exhibition was their first public engagement.
