Shaikh Khalid bin Ali appointed Middle East Board of Examiners Chairman

Manama, September 13 (BNA) The Commander of the Royal Medical Services, Major General Professor Sheikh Khalid bin Ali Al Khalifa, has been appointed as Chairman of the Board of Examiners in the Middle East by the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland (RCSI).

The Royal College of Surgeons in Bahrain was established in 2004 and has always been keen to support the educational process of students and trainees.

Colonel Dr. Nayef Abdul Rahman Laurie, Head of Continuing Education for Physicians at the Royal Medical Services, has also been appointed as a member of the College’s Board of Examiners in the Middle East.

The collaboration between the Royal Medical Services and RCSI is based on the College being the destination for the many physicians and surgeons affiliated with the Royal Medical Services to obtain the best quality training.

The Major General expressed his pride in his appointment thanks to the efforts made to raise the efficiency of the health sector in the Kingdom by supporting the academic path of doctors and refining their skills.
