Role:
The Key Account Manager is responsible for managing key accounts, maintaining a long-term relationship with VIP clients and maximizing sales opportunities within them.
Basic tasks:
Provide a high level of service to existing VIP clients while working to expand the client base through referrals and other prospecting activities
Follow up on potential customers to assess customer needs and resources and recommend appropriate Ooredoo Kuwait products and services.
Ensure strong, long-term relationships with clients are established by providing customized value-added services and experiences.
– Develop written proposals, offers, quotes, etc.
Play an essential role in new business pitches and take responsibility for the effective onboarding of new critical clients.
Responsible for developing and realizing VIP sales through direct sales channel.
– Focus on growing and developing existing VIP clients, along with creating new business
– Estimate or quote prices, credit or contact terms, warranties and delivery date.
Meet the key performance indicators for quality and performance while achieving sales targets set by management.
Take overall responsibility for all aspects of the sales process.
Managing the final relationship with important clients.
Expand sales to existing VIPs by selling and cross-selling additional products.
Acting as the first point of contact for VIP customers to respond to inquiries and provide information on various Ooredoo Kuwait services and products.
Follow up on the most complex inquiries with the appropriate operating personnel and ensure that information is provided to the client in a timely manner.
Guiding VIP subscribers through various procedures such as accommodation requests, maintaining a helpful and easy approach to clients to ensure a high level of service delivery.
– Activation of lines for approved subscribers through the dedicated VIP facility to avoid possible long waiting times in the main system.
Follow up with new and existing VIP subscribers to ensure that the service meets expectations and takes advantage of all opportunities to increase sales and profitability.
– Follow up on overdue payments with tact and good judgment.
Receive monthly bill payments and new subscriptions, submit receipts and make daily reconciliation before forwarding them to Finance for ledger posting.
Support other team members who have personal contacts to deal with high profile clients. Also provide assistance with technical and relationship management issues, as required.
Provides on-the-job training to new team members, as required to ensure knowledge sharing and sales skills development.
Consistently demonstrate a high level of teamwork by working collaboratively and effectively with other internal and external stakeholders.
Participate in the annual business planning process and be responsible for all activities arising from the process.
Maintain knowledge of all Ooredoo products and services
– Create detailed or succinct reports and presentations about the status of their accounts and business update
Work on other projects when needed
qualifications:
Previous experience in Account Management or Territory Sales and demonstrating the position which is the key to success
Strong account management and relationship building skills
Experience in managing elite clients
Highly self-motivated
– Fluency in Arabic and English, both written and oral.
Good communication, planning and organization skills.
Strong interpersonal and relationship management skills.
Ability to adhere to strict levels of confidentiality and discretion
Strong customer service ethic
– Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Business Administration or related field from a recognized university.
– Microsoft Office.
Good general knowledge of telecommunications products and services
