Job title:
• We are looking for an experienced and entrepreneurial Vendor Manager to help create a best-in-class experience for the retail categories.
• Responsibilities include managing the full range of category and seller portfolio, building and maintaining strategic relationships with key global manufacturers and suppliers, improving the overall Amazon customer experience, and helping to shape the evolution of how customers online shop for these ratings.
• We are looking for a passionate customer and category advocate within Amazon, with proven analytical capabilities and project management skills, strong attention to detail, ability to effectively prioritize and multitask, and a proven track record of driving category growth.
• The ideal candidate will be a junior with a passion for retail, a high level of flexibility and commitment, and the ability to recruit and develop a high-performance team.

Job title:
• Dig into the input and understand the ultimate impact of changes in pricing, selection and fitness for multiple subcategories
• Owns retail P&L for multiple subcategories. Develops plans that drive revenue and margin improvement
• Create a strategic and priority marketing plan for suppliers that increases profit margin and customer experience
• Audit all elements of the multiple subcategories’ business (eg inputs, outputs, site experience, team performance), perform deep problem analysis to understand root causes, and make decisions based on data
• Identify areas needing vendor attention and direct the team to address issues. Serves as an escalation point, helping the team and supplier(s) resolve disputes
• Represents the class in the category of business meetings, responds briefly to the calls of the father’s leadership
• Expand the selection of existing sellers and secure new brand selection for multiple subcategories
• Focuses on strategic resignation or challenging vendors to increase selection
• Leads strategic negotiations to achieve growth in the top and bottom categories
• Creates opportunities for growth, customer acquisition, and brand building for multiple sub-categories
• Influence strategic or complex vendors to prioritize customer experience by reducing costs, optimizing the supply chain, reducing defects, and driving efficiencies
• Provide feedback on existing programs or initiate new programs to drive vendor participation
• Check metrics regularly. Evaluates products and services to continually improve the quality of customer experience across multiple subcategories
• Compilation and escalation of industry trends. Develops and prioritizes business plan to ensure optimum customer experience
• Works cross-functionally to implement scalable solutions to address customers’ pain points
• Identify opportunities that enable us to differentiate our customers’ experience from the competition. Escalate findings for consideration to strategic planning
• Develops long-term strategies and significantly influences plans across categories
• Develop and implement multi-category action plans
• Identifying and prioritizing business opportunities, identifying risks and making recommendations for follow-up. Integrates into long-term strategies for multiple subcategories
• Partners with cross-functional teams to develop and propose an annual plan for multiple subcategories
• Possesses press releases, narratives, and other internal communications for multiple subcategories
• Define scalable changes to the category that automate the product lifecycle
• Create long-term category solutions that automate or simplify category operations
• Identifies business or process requirements, leads prioritization, and manages implementation across multiple teams/categories
• Works with internal, across categories, and technology teams to drive multi-system process changes
• Holds the team accountable for maintaining robust process documentation
• Provide regular feedback and peer coaching
• Actively seeks feedback from others. Self-aware, identifies areas for personal growth, sets development goals, implements best Amazon recruitment practices, and continually raises hiring standards

Basic qualifications
• Bachelor degree. Over 10 years of relevant experience in Fashion Retail, Operations with a proven track record of delivering negotiations and delivering results.
• Demonstrated ability to coordinate projects across functional teams, including technical, engineering, marketing, design and merchandising teams
• A strong leader with excellent verbal and written interpersonal skills. Ability to operate successfully and influence at all levels across Amazon.
• Independence and flexibility
• A range of accomplished skills from high-level strategic thinking to creative and articulated team leadership
• An analytical approach to problem solving and a proven track record of leadership results through continuous improvement
• Efficiency in utilizing precious resources
• Experience indirectly leading operational teams and projects

qualifications preferred
• Ability to reflect and respond to a high-energy, fast-paced experience in vendor negotiations, pricing, merchandising, inventory management and product development. Advanced experience with Excel, or other analytics/business intelligence tools. Highly polished communication skills – speaking, writing, presentation and negotiation.
• Ability to work simultaneously and effectively in both tactical and strategic approaches.
