The purpose of the role:

Provide comments and expert opinions to all relevant stakeholders regarding employee relations, labor law, policy interpretation, and organizational planning.

Responsible for internal investigation of employees and ensuring adherence to HR policy in terms of governance.

Main Responsibilities and Responsibilities:
Ensure consistency of day-to-day operations in accordance with HR policies and procedures.
Providing governance and employee relations consulting services to all stakeholders. Including but not limited to employee case studies, ex-employee inquiries, end-of-service process and discipline management.
– Provide support to HR department with
General administration of day-to-day policies and procedures including, but not limited to, answering routine questions from employees, maintaining employee records, and processing reports.
Maintaining employee databases, including but not limited to:
Warning letters.

– Analyzing employee data and designing periodic and ad hoc reports.
– Communicate the requirements of government agencies related to human resources for business units. Conduct investigations and recommend appropriate action in accordance with approved Discipline Department procedures.
Ensure that all disciplinary actions are addressed in accordance with law and policy guidelines, and report any deficiencies that occur.
Counsel managers on progressive discipline, highlighting legal requirements and outcomes.
Coordinating with the legal department to ensure compliance with the labor law in all employee relations matters, and to provide solutions in case of violation of these laws.
Conduct a periodic review to assess compliance with labor law and HR policy in all HR operations. Suggest corrective actions if these regulations are not met. Take responsibility for proactively self-improvement by staying well informed of developments, knowledge and innovations in the relevant area of ​​expertise.
Follow up, acquire and communicate changes related to labor law to business units.
Other duties as directed by supervisor or other superiors.

Qualifications / Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Human Resources, or a related discipline

other information:
Years of experience required based on the progression ladder in human resources
– In-depth knowledge of Kuwaiti labor law
Knowledge of HR functional areas (eg Kuwait Labor Law, HR systems,)
Good knowledge of MS Office applications such as Excel, Word, etc.
– Fluency in both written and spoken English and Arabic
– HRIS practical experience
Ability to work in a multicultural society
