• The Senior Security Manager has direct technical responsibility for the Security Operations Center (SOC) and public security related technologies for the Telco project.
• Its goal is to continuously monitor and improve the quality of service and to achieve and exceed quality and timeliness standards.
• The Security Manager coordinates and leads the response with client response groups.
• The Security Manager monitors the monitoring, detection and response services provided through the development of periodic reports and the dashboard.
• Supervisory responsibilities include monitoring performance, training for improvement, and providing feedback to Special Operations Center teams.
• The Security Manager adheres to policies and procedures and develops strategies to drive quality and performance.
• Lead comprehensive security services and capabilities including SOC, security engineering and operations.
• Leading and responding to the escalation of security incidents
• Lead response actions to reduce the impact of identified threats and align them with pervasive use cases
• Oversee the activities of the service provided, ensuring that the activities of the Cyber Security Center (CSC) are implemented in accordance with defined scope, and security best practices.
• Providing information and tactical guidance during incidents
• Assess existing technical capabilities and systems and identify opportunities for improvement
• Manage and deliver reports, dashboards, metrics, service level agreements, and KPIs
• Manage a team of SOC Analysts (L1 & L2) and Security Operations (Engineering Team) dealing with multiple technologies including SIEM, SOAR, TIP, Firewalls, Endpoint, PKI, DNS, IAM etc.
• Excellent people management skills
• Ability to work in a high pressure environment
• Previous experience in managing end-to-end security in a Telco . environment
• Knowledge of multiple technologies (SIEM, SOAR, TIP, Firewalls, Endpoint, PKI, DNS, IAM etc.).
• Understand service-related performance metrics
• Strong analytical and problem solving skill
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
