Senior Planning Engineer – NEOM

WSP is looking for a Senior Planning Engineer to undertake planning and scheduling tasks for all related work as specified by the client throughout the contract term.
Your new role, what is your role?
* Ensure proactive project planning, stakeholder relations, and risk management take place across projects
* Prepare and update project schedules at the project level for all ongoing and future projects in Primavera P6 Professional or Enterprise.
* Manage and monitor a schedule of planned resources required to deliver the project. Check resources for fees to make sure they balance expectations.
* Create and review bidding schedules during the bidding stages.
* Creation and revision of baselines, recovery/revised and updated periodic tables.
* Review the Chief Resident Engineer’s weekly reports and provide schedule input as required
* Consolidate additional work into schedules as required and update/keep additional business records.
* Review and manage contractors’ schedules
* Regularly review resource usage against schedule and recommend/take corrective action when required.
* Establishing a case register and following up on issues affecting the project schedule.
* Generate detailed and executive summary reports for senior management.
* Monitor and analyze progress and efficiency for each project and report to supervisors and managers
*Assist in reviewing and preparing documentation to support claims management and especially time extension.
* Present all of the above to clients and internal managers.
We would love to hear from you if you have:
* Bachelor’s degree in a related engineering discipline
Experience in planning professional services (engineering and consulting services).
* Experience in tall buildings
* Proven track record of contributing to the development of procedures related to planning and schedule review.
* More than 15 years of experience in planning management and cost engineering
* Certificate in project planning and scheduling and use of Primavera applications (Primavera Project Management / P6 and Primavera Contract Management / Expedition)
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
* Ability to handle complex situations professionally and confidentially.
