Rixos Doha Qetaifan

Opening in mid-2022, Rixos Doha Qetaifan will consist of a 345-key hotel, along with an 11,000 square meter rental market, beach club, theme park and water park. The resort will offer panoramic views of the Arabian Gulf. Set to make its debut ahead of the World Cup, Rixos plans to provide a platform to showcase Qatar as a tourist destination. One of the country’s biggest attractions will be the water park on Qetaifan Island North, the Icon Tower, the tallest tower of its kind in the world, reaching 82 meters in height.

General Manager of the water park

The General Manager leads the Rixos Qatar Aquatic Team to deliver world-class experiences to guests and staff in an exciting water park. The General Manager provides direction and control for all aspects of this amazing facility filled with water features, features and thrill rides, with multiple food and beverage outlets and gift shops in accordance with company policies, procedures and local legislation.

What will you do:

Lead and direct all operational functions including food and beverage, retail, human resources, marketing, sales, safety/security, guest services and maintenance.
Oversee and develop a highly motivated and effective team of supervisors, managers and employees to ensure exceptional guest satisfaction and revenue targets are met.
Researching and recommending new products and suppliers to enhance customer satisfaction, sales and cost control.
Manage all financial aspects of the facility while maximizing revenue and cost saving opportunities.
Ensure compliance with company policies, business operations and all applicable health, safety and risk management practices.

Your experience and skills include:

Previous experience at the level of a water park general manager
Strong computer literacy, especially with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, social media publishing tools, and reporting systems.
Strong team player with excellent leadership skills.
Proven ability to create partnerships within industry and society.
Must be self-motivated and able to make decisions while handling many projects simultaneously
