Our client is a well-known luxury lounge of an airline. The company employs more than 600 employees in a large number of departments and departments. They are currently looking for a Senior Engineer – ERP to be based in Bahrain.
Duties and Responsibilities:
• Responsible for the identification, documentation and satisfactory completion of projects in the field of ERP implemented.
• Ensures that realistic project and quality plans are prepared and maintained and provides regular and accurate reports to stakeholders as required.
• Maintains contact with clients and stakeholders throughout to ensure satisfaction.
• Captures and publishes technical and business information.
• Supports and actively engages with experts and stakeholders to ensure that continuous improvements are identified through review and measurement processes.
• Assists in the analysis of stakeholder objectives, core issues arising from investigations into business requirements and problems, and identifies options for consideration.
• Helps define requirements for implementing changes in the business process.
• Conducting assessment, analysis, development, documentation and implementation of changes based on change requests.
• Carry out on-site and remote application configuration for implementing modules and manage the deployment of bug fixes at the application level.
• Contributes to the ERP availability management process and operation and performs specific availability management tasks.
• Drafts and maintains procedures and documents to support ERP/Business Information Modeling applications.
• Manages requests for application improvements to improve business performance.
• Ensures that appropriate action is taken to anticipate, investigate and resolve problems in systems and services.
• Ensures that such problems are fully documented within the relevant reporting system.
• Works with end users of development requests for ERP, integration and customization reports.
• Designing, creating and testing well-designed, fairly complex information products with specific content and layout.
• Assists users in defining their access rights and privileges, and manages logical access controls and security systems.
• Examines records as part of specified testing strategies to demonstrate compliance with management directives, or to identify abnormal events.
• Design and manage new/updated ERP unit process tests.
• Define the test environment for full life cycle testing.
• Manages the creation of relevant scenarios for testing, ensures that tests reflect realistic operating conditions and works with end users in defining acceptance tests.
• Ensure that tests and results are documented, communicated to stakeholders, and made available to user instructions specifications.
Qualifications and requirements:
• University degree in Computer Science or equivalent
• 7-9 years’ experience managing core product of IBM Maximo Asset Management and related units, and worked on integration with Oracle E-Business Suite applications.
• Served as Project Manager for Building Information Modeling applications projects from start to finish
• Good experience with IBM Maximo units
• Good experience in development and integration
• Safe hands with experience in application technologies and software development
• Strong skills in PLSQL and Adv PL/SQL programming, workflows, reports and form customization
• Must possess strong analytical, troubleshooting, problem solving, and user support skills
• Demonstrates and reinforces a high sense of responsibility and urgency among the team
• The candidate must be Bahraini
