the opportunity
You will be part of the EY MENA Technology Risk. Your mandate will be to work with EY teams across different offices in the MENA region to serve MENA clients especially in Saudi Arabia. You will contribute to an account-centric growth strategy that focuses on problem-based customer needs and competencies. This is what distinguishes EY in the consulting market.
Your main responsibilities
It will help our clients to evaluate and promote their business; With a focus on managing risks arising from continuous technological developments and resulting rapid changes in business and operational processes.
Everything you will be involved in comes down to providing excellent customer service and helping the EY teams do the same. Whether you work with multiple client teams, advise clients on IT risk matters or assist EY executives with business development activities across various sectors, you will build strong relationships and become a trusted advisor to your clients.
Success skills and attributes
Provide direction, knowledge and participation in the implementation of procedures focused on complex, judgmental and/or specialized issues
Maintain relationships with client management, managing expectations about work products, timing, and invoices for deliverables
Demonstrate a thorough understanding of complex information systems and the client’s business/industry.
Demonstrate excellent project management skills, inspiring teamwork and responsibility with team members. Use existing technology/tools to enhance effectiveness of outputs and services.
To qualify for the role you must have
– Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or a related field. Alternatively, a degree in Business, Accounting and Finance with additional IT qualifications.
Master’s degree preferred.
Approximately five (5) years of relevant experience working as an IT risk consultant or IT auditor for a public accounting firm, professional services firm, technology firm, telecommunications or financial services firm, or similar experience as an IT/Information systems consultant
Relevant areas of expertise include, but are not limited to, IT risk assessment and management, digital trust, mobile technology assessments, emerging technologies (robots, IoT, cloud, and Blockchain), and ERP control validation ( SAP, Oracle, MS Dynamics), systems and network technologies, IT/business process and internal control assessments, internal audit engagements, external audit integration, data analytics application, and/or third party reporting, etc.
Assisting EY executives with business development activities across various sectors/geography/solutions focus
– Advanced written and verbal communication skills and presentation skills
– Excellent leadership, teamwork and customer service skills
Ideally, you will also have
CISA, CISSP, CISM and/or CIA certification is essential for long-term growth in the role; Depending on an individual’s professional background, area of specialization, or industry focus, we understand that certifications, credentials, or other experience may be more relevant than the certifications listed and therefore may be acceptable.

Therefore, ability and willingness to travel full time and work in different offices in the MENA region is a prerequisite.
