Senior Construction Supervisor – Large Factory Project – Jeddah
Senior Construction/Field Supervisor Responsible for general fieldwork on one of the company’s largest projects, leads a large team of supervisors and ensures company policies and procedures are met with regard to safety, scheduling, budgeting, quality and customer satisfaction.
Duties:
• Directing and coordinating all commercial contractors and their subcontractors, as and when required, to ensure high quality work that meets the approved project schedule.
• Supervising and developing the project team.
• Manage the project budget for general conditions and site services.
• Develop, document and communicate the action plan regarding changes made in the field.
• Maintain a thorough understanding of contract documents to be able to coordinate character, look forward planning and ability to anticipate potential problems before they arise.
• Obtaining or verifying that the subcontractors have obtained all necessary permits for construction purposes.
• Monitor safety performance and verify safety compliance for all occupations. Act as a primary safety representative in this field and implement quality control policies.
• Perform maintenance and planning for Workarounds, closures and connections
• Main contractor meetings, overseeing daily and document reports using Procore on a regular basis
• Communicate schedule status, updates and changes to the project team and commercial contractors
• Coordination and management of job site logistics
• Overseeing the project quality plan and implementing the necessary changes.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in engineering or construction management.
• More than 15 years of experience on a construction project or multiple projects in a supervisory role or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• An Arabic speaker is preferred but similar project experience is a higher priority.
• The experience of building powerful cars is ideally but not necessary.
• Able to manage large/complex projects and field teams.
• Strong technical and communication skills.
