The ideal candidate will have significant exposure to monthly closings, forecasting, budgeting and customer invoicing. They will be organized and approach each issue with an analytical mindset.
responsibilities
• Ensure that business transactions are reported in accordance with GAAP
• Work closely with team members to help close the month end
• Assist in the annual review process including draft financial statements and related notes
• Research and analysis of differences in expenses for the management of the company
• Perform other accounting duties and support junior staff as required or assigned.
• Contribute to the development of new or modified accounting systems, programs and procedures.
qualifications
• 3+ years of professional accounting experience
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or equivalent experience
• CPA . preferred
• Strong financial analysis skills.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Strong organizational and stress management skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office & Tally programs, especially with Excel.
• Ability to train and manage staff.
• Ability to work with little or no supervision.
