A cybersecurity engineer is a senior level position responsible for planning, designing, testing, and maintaining an organization’s computer and network security infrastructure.
The role requires a thorough knowledge of the business owner and a thorough understanding of the technology he uses to conduct operations. They usually have a good understanding of both technical and business skills.
• Lead the process of designing and managing existing networks and traffic control. The professionals also work in coordination with the software and hardware teams to get the necessary network equipment in place.
• The Security Engineer will work in association with Network / Security Solution Architects.
• Should come from a similar role where hands-on experience is required to handle RFP/RFQ and other related things.
• Dealing with Vendors, Distis and customer team to ensure smooth interaction, ability to deliver solutions in the right way, market exposure and follow up on new trends from a network security and cyber security perspective.
• Strong working knowledge of IT, cyber security and computer operating software risks
• Advanced understanding of security, encryption and security protocols
• Experience in implementing multi-factor authentication

• Ability to act as an enterprise security expert who can explain complex topics to those without a technical background
• Use emerging technologies to design and implement security solutions. Monitor and improve those solutions while working with the information security team
• Consulting and engineering in designing and developing best security practices. Implement security measures to meet business objectives, customer needs, and regulatory requirements
• Cloud computing security considerations, including data breaches, hacking, account hijacking, hack insiders, third parties, authentication, APTs, data loss, and DoS attacks
• Identity and access management. Track and establish/enforce policies governing access to sensitive technology resources and information assets
