Second ‘Youth Empowerment Forum’ held

Manama, April 17 (BNA): Under the auspices of the Minister of Youth Affairs, Rawan bint Najeeb Al-Tawfiqi, the second edition of the “Youth Empowerment Centers Forum” was launched under the slogan “Youth Empowerment between Reality and the Future”.


The ceremony was attended by the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Youth Affairs, Sarah Eshki, and the Chairman of the Board of Directors of Al-Areed Holding Group LLC. , and Nasser bin Muhammad Jamil Al-Areed, and representatives of youth empowerment centers in the Kingdom, and it was hosted by the Al-Hijr Center for Youth Empowerment.


In his speech before the forum, Nasser Al-Areedh expressed his thanks and appreciation to the Minister of Youth Affairs for sponsoring the event in its second edition, noting that youth empowerment centers are distinguished incubators for Bahraini youth, in light of the various programs they implement to hone the skills of Bahraini youth. .


He urged concerted national efforts to support the system of youth empowerment centers to preserve the gains and achieve more achievements that meet the aspirations of Bahraini youth.


Zainab Al-Tajer, a member of the Women’s Committee at the Al-Hajar Center for Youth Empowerment, highlighted in her statement the objectives of the forum aimed at maximizing the role of youth empowerment centers in discovering and refining the talents of Bahraini youth across various fields.


Dr. Mona Fakhr, Head of the Youth Empowerment Center in Al-Dih, delivered a speech at the forum. She highlighted the key role played by women in the success of youth empowerment centers, citing the achievements made thanks to them and the initiatives they launched.

The forum also included a working paper from the Naeem Center for Youth Empowerment, Ghazi Abdel Mohsen, on the aspirations of youth empowerment centers and the challenges they face.


Members of the “Young Inspirational” initiative also gave a presentation entitled “The Path to the Impossible”.


The forum also included a seminar on the role of youth empowerment centers in nurturing Bahraini youth and their talents.
