Manama, November 11 (BNA) The President of the Sustainable Energy Authority, Dr. Abdul-Hussain bin Ali Mirza, received the Turkish Ambassador to the Kingdom of Bahrain, Essen Shekil.
The meeting reviewed the most important achievements and initiatives that have been achieved in the fields of renewable energy and energy efficiency included in the National Energy Efficiency Action Plan (NEEAP).
Dr. Mirza highlighted Bahrain’s current and future projects and noted the Kingdom’s goal to reach zero carbon neutrality by 2060.
He praised the bilateral relations, and emphasized keenness to enhance cooperation in the fields of renewable energy and energy efficiency.
The head of the SEA was briefed on Turkey’s achievements in the same fields.
The ambassador expressed her happiness to see the great progress achieved by the Kingdom of Bahrain in advancing the sustainable energy sector, and stressed the keenness to cooperate at all levels.
