Manama, June 7 (BNA) The Secretary-General of the Supreme Council for Women, Hala Al-Ansari, received Her Highness Sheikha Hessa bint Khalifa Al Khalifa, member of the Supreme Council for Women, head of the Financial Technology Committee for Women, and CEO of the Bahrain Development Bank. Her Highness Sheikha Hessa bint Khalifa Al Khalifa, President of the Supreme Council for Women, was briefed on the work of the committee and its efforts to integrate women into modern technological and scientific fields.
She was also briefed on the outputs of the committee’s work and its ability to produce projects capable of dealing with the requirements of the digital economy, in line with national efforts that keep pace with emerging trends in the field of digitization and modern science, which has become confirming the 2030 Economic Vision.
Her Highness Sheikha Hessa bint Khalifa Al Khalifa said: “The goal is to increase productivity, innovation and create new promising job opportunities,” stressing the importance of the Bahrain Development Bank’s efforts to support the ideas and projects of Bahraini youth.
The meeting discussed the launch of a technology accelerator at the Bahraini Women’s Capacity Development Center, “Riyadaatin Accelerator” to attract financial technology projects launched and managed by Bahraini women, and provide them with all the necessary support in terms of incubation, expertise and guidance.
