Saudi’s Jahez, and Kuwait’s Cari & Rasameel among Panel of Investors on Episode 8 of Beban Season 2

Manama, Feb. 22 (BNA): Beban, a reality show entitled Entrepreneurship produced by Hope Ventures, the investment arm of the Hope Fund, will broadcast the eighth episode of its second season on February 22 at 6:00 pm on Bahrain TV.

Season 2 of Beban is the first TV show in the Middle East and North Africa region powered by 100% renewable energy through Hope Ventures’ partnership with Oil and Gas Holding Company (nogaholding) and the Electricity and Water Authority (EWA).

The show is built around the premises of entrepreneurs who pitch their businesses to a panel of regional investors for immediate investment and business opportunities.

Episode 8 hosts four entrepreneurs from Bahrain and the United Arab Emirates.

Diwama, is an AI image recognition software that detects and tracks waste types and brands across the waste value chain to help people at the source and waste companies sort better and recycle more, Founded by Christopher Arida.

“Nadeera Technologies” is a social enterprise that provides innovative, digitally enabled solid waste management solutions, founded by Rabih El Chaar.

Parcel 24 Delivery Co. WLL, is a B2B on-demand delivery service connecting businesses with independent drivers, co-founded by Ali Dhaif.

“Your Parts” is a B2B2C platform that integrates technology into the automotive aftermarket by creating a unique auto parts marketplace and SaaS management system, founded by Osama Sadek.

The four companies are presented before a committee of regional investors consisting of Jahez Company in Saudi Arabia, represented by the Chief Investment Officer Abdulaziz Al-Houti, the founder and CEO of Kari Abdullah Al-Mutawa, and the CEO of Rasameel Dakhil Al-Dakhil.

The session will be moderated by the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Hope Fund, Ayman bin Tawfiq Almoayyed, who represents the investments of Hope Ventures.
