Job description – sales manager

Manage sales by planning, increasing profitability, achieving sales results, reducing daily sales outstanding (DSO), harnessing available resources, and ensuring goals and objectives set by management are met.
Reporting to: MD

Major accounts:
Sales Administration
Supervising daily activities.
Ensure product availability
Increasing prices for existing customers, controlling (variable) expenses, and maximizing resource utilization.
Develop and implement systems to improve overall sales

Achieving the sales target
Goals are filtered below a specific time line
Reviewing the sales process, which includes – quotations, responding to bids and inquiries, and following up on offers.
Maintain contact with customers through courtesy visits and periodic follow-up

increase profitability
Increase prices for existing customers and keep prices higher than MSP
Maintain variable cost by controlling distribution cost and delivery cost and maximizing available human resources

Resources, rotation of available assets,
Focus on sales of high-value products that add to the bottom line

Daily Sales Outstanding Optimization (DSO)
Optimize quotation, clearly define payment terms with customer, get written communication via LPO &
Credit approvals (ensure timely delivery of documents such as DN and invoice to customers) are consistent with defaulting customers

exploitation of resources
Motivate employees, conduct performance appraisals, and reward critical employees.
Suggesting course correction for underperforming employees and advising
· Recovery of idle assets / cylinders

customers satisfaction
Resolve customer complaints in a timely manner.
Solve the same problem with the help of other departments within the specified time frame

Account secret code
· Visit each department. To the client and get to know the decision makers
· Manage assigned contacts

qualification:
MBA (Marketing) or Industrial Engineering degree with a proven track record in Marketing and Business. At least 10+ years of core experience with a reputable company.
Experience in the UAE, familiar with refrigerant, industrial and specialty gases.

Should have relevant experience in refrigerant, industrial and specialty gases.
