Role description

We are looking for the next Sales Development Officer (SDE) to join the team!

Within the SDE team, our goal is to change the rules of the game in the software industry by delighting our customers and delivering an unforgettable digital experience.

Our mission is to increase sales productivity by creating a highly qualified pipeline that is converted into earned revenue.

The primary responsibility of the SAP Sales Development Manager is to engage Net New customers with digital selling methodologies and technologies, building and managing a portfolio of software licensing opportunities, and aligned incremental revenue with sales executives within the mid-market segment.

The mid-market segment represents the fastest growth opportunity for SAP, particularly to increase Cloud and NNN revenue and accelerate market share.

As an integral part of the account team, the Sales Development Manager leverages multiple resources, including, among others, marketing, sales, pre-sales and partner teams, and innovative tools to interact with Net New customers in a given region.

Expectations and tasks

Generate leads and opportunities through social selling and strategic and targeted prospecting for companies in a specific industry / LoB (line of business)
– Plan prospecting strategy in line with sales team and partners
Lead proactive external activities in a new communications network
Engage with C-Level executives through multi-channel touch points
– Achieving ambitious sales – and demand creation targets
Be a SAP leader to lead the digital transformation
Adoption and dissemination of the latest digital prospecting and sales tools and methodologies
Support the team on strategic projects and business activities

work experience

One to two years of experience creating inter-company orders and/or sales experience in a software sales organisation
Experience in Saudi Arabia or Kuwait market

Education and qualification / skills and competencies

Graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration/IT/Digital Transformation or other majors
– Fluency in English and Arabic is a must
– Attention to new technologies
Understand the business challenges facing a specific industry and/or line of business
Strong customer focus and interpersonal skills to act as a trusted advisor
Ability to listen actively in order to prioritize customer needs
Ability to work independently with a strong drive to achieve results
Strong attachment with teamwork and ability to learn and adapt quickly
Natural drive to excel, curiosity, and agility with a growth mindset
