Manama, March 13 (BNA): His Majesty the King’s office affirmed that “Morocco’s position on the Palestinian issue is irreversible. It constitutes one of the foreign policy priorities of His Majesty the King, Commander of the Faithful and Chairman of the Jerusalem Committee, who puts this issue on an equal footing with the issue of the kingdom’s territorial integrity.”
In response to a statement issued by a Moroccan political party, the royal court affirmed that “the Kingdom’s international relations cannot be the subject of blackmail by anyone or for any consideration whatsoever, especially in the current complex global context. Thus, the exploitation of the Kingdom’s foreign policy is in the agenda Local partisanship sets a dangerous and unacceptable precedent.”
The statement added that “the resumption of relations between Morocco and Israel took place in circumstances and in a context known to all.”
