Royal Medical Services, BOC sign agreement

Manama, May 24 (BNA): The Bahrain Olympic Committee signed today an agreement with Rumal Medical Services Company to enhance joint cooperation and provide health services to athletes.

The signing of the agreement came on the directives of His Highness Sheikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa, First Deputy President of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports, President of the Public Authority for Sports and President of the Bahrain Olympic Committee. ).

The agreement was signed by the Acting Commander of the Royal Medical Services, Brigadier General Dr. Sheikh Fahd bin Khalifa, and Secretary of the British Central Committee, Faris Mustafa Al-Kooheji, at the Valley Palace of His Highness Sheikh Khalid bin Hamad.

brig. Dr. Sheikh Fahd bin Khalifa expressed his thanks and gratitude to His Highness Sheikh Khalid bin Hamad for his directives in concluding the deal, which heralds prospects for cooperation between the Royal Medical Services and the sports sector.

He explained that “the Royal Medical Services will contribute, through this agreement, to providing medical care and services to the players and members of the national teams (the team).”

Al-Kooheji stressed the importance of the agreement, stressing the keenness of His Highness Sheikh Khalid bin Hamad to support the national teams and provide them with medical care.

Under the deal, hospitals affiliated with the Royal Medical Services of the Bahrain Defense Force will provide health care to the national teams, based on the BOC list in coordination with the associations.

The list includes the Bahrain Defense Force Hospital, King Hamad University Hospital, and the Mohammed bin Khalifa Specialized Cardiac Center (MKCC).
