Royal Humanitarian Foundation, iGA Launch new eService via National Portal Bahrain.bh

Manama, December 4 (BNA) The Royal Humanitarian Foundation, in cooperation with the Information and e-Government Authority, launched an electronic service to support the care of widows and orphans.

It is available through the national portal bahrain.bh, and it allows families to submit sponsorship requests, join the Royal Humanitarian Foundation (RHF) and inquire about the status of applications. The launch coincides with the 20th anniversary of the reproductive health facility.

The Secretary-General of the Healthcare Corporation, Dr. Mustafa Al-Sayed, said that the new service is in line with the directives of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, Honorary President of the Healthcare Corporation, and has the support of His Majesty’s Representative for Humanitarian Work and Youth Affairs. His Highness Sheikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the King Hussein Cancer Foundation, ensures effective digital transformation of the Foundation’s services and simplification of its procedures.

He added that the Foundation worked in cooperation with the Information and e-Government Authority to provide the new electronic service through the national portal to help support the continuation of the humanitarian work of His Majesty the King and care for orphans, widows and eligible segments of society.

The Chief Executive Officer of the Information and eGovernment Authority, Mohammed Ali Al Qaed, congratulated His Majesty King Hamad and His Highness Sheikh Nasser on this occasion.

He also thanked the employees of the Information and eGovernment Authority, indicating their efforts in cooperation with the King Hussein Cancer Foundation to provide this service.

The new presentation highlights the RHF’s pioneering role in caring for widows, orphans and others in need by deploying a range of advanced technologies.

He added that the Information and eGovernment Authority will continue to provide its best efforts to further improve the offerings of the King Hussein Cancer Foundation.

The new service adds to the growing number of offerings by the Intergovernmental Information Authority in support of the healthcare facility’s humanitarian efforts, including the restructuring of procedures; Developing an internal system to sponsor widows and orphans. simplify and support the transition of RHF to cloud computing; and link it to government systems. And the development of a registration service for people infected with the Corona virus.

Widowed mothers can apply for monthly sponsorship for themselves and their children by selecting ‘Submit New Application’ on bahrain.bh. The primary electronic key is required to access the service.

To submit a new application, widows must be registered as sponsorship beneficiaries. That one of the parents of the son or daughter be Bahraini. There are other conditions that stipulate that the orphan must be unmarried and under 24 years old.

Users with the primary electronic key can also inquire about the status of applications made to each family member.
