Royal Court mourns late UAE President

Manama, May 13 (BNA) The Royal Court, by order of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, mourned His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the United Arab Emirates.

The Royal Court paid tribute and appreciation to the late President of the United Arab Emirates, who passed away after a life rich in achievements to serve the people of the Emirates and its Arab and Islamic people. He extended his sincere condolences to the Al Nahyan family and the people of the Emirates, asking God Almighty to rejoice in the deceased with his mercy, and to dwell in his vast gardens.

By order of His Majesty the King, an official mourning period was declared for a period of three days, during which the flags of the Kingdom of Bahrain will be lowered half-mast.
