Roma and Milan draw 1-1 after goals in stoppage time

Milan, April 29 (BNA) Roma and Milan scored a stoppage-time goal to draw 1-1 in Serie A, a result on Saturday that did not bring any interest in a tough race for the Champions League qualifying spots.

Tammy Abraham thought he had secured a decisive victory for Roma when he scored in the fourth minute of stoppage time with the first shot on goal of the match.

But Alexis Sailmakers equalized three minutes later to leave Ibrahim shaking his head in disbelief, reports the Associated Press.

Fourth-placed Milan led Roma on goal difference. The head-to-head clash is the first tiebreaker but the teams are level after two late goals for Roma helped snatch a 2-2 draw with AC Milan in January. They are also equal on goal difference.

But Roma have eight fewer goals than Milan overall. Inter Milan could be level on points after beating second-placed Lazio on Sunday.

But Lazio need to win to prevent Napoli from clinching the title when they face Salernitana later that day, in a match rescheduled from Saturday for security reasons.
