Manama, September 29 (BNA) The Patron of the National Evangelical Church and President of the Society of the White Banners, Reverend Hani Aziz, praised the invitation of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, His Holiness, Pope Francis, to visit the Kingdom. Bahrain will participate next November in the Bahrain Forum “East-West Dialogue for Human Coexistence”, which will be held under the patronage of His Majesty the King.
Rev. Hani Aziz said that he is looking forward to the visit of His Holiness the Pope, describing him as a man of peace and love who seeks to spread the spirit of tolerance among all people in the world. “He has a vision that he strives to achieve and works hard to renounce violence and wars and help and support the weak,” said Rev. Hani Aziz. He pointed out that the invitation extended by His Majesty the King to His Holiness the Pope is characterized by the spirit of peace and love, praising the efforts of His Majesty the King in consolidating the characteristics of Bahrain as a center for tolerance and peaceful coexistence for all neighboring countries.
Rev. Hani Aziz added that the visit of His Holiness Pope Francis to the Kingdom of Bahrain is a valuable opportunity to shed light on the extent of tolerance and coexistence between different religions and cultures in the Kingdom of Bahrain, and to convey a positive image of the Kingdom as an oasis of peace, security and safety for all who live on its land.
