Role

You are responsible for contributing to the operational and financial aspects of operating the restaurant. You must provide support to the Restaurant Manager in overseeing the overall organization, and ensuring implementation and consistency of company standards. The mission and purpose of this position is for the incumbent to take full responsibility for all aspects of the outlet in the absence of the Restaurant Manager and be proactive, creative and results driven.

Key Achievements and Responsibilities

Ensure that correct grooming standards are followed at all times
– Responsible for the smooth running of the port
Follow the care program at all times
– Follow all financial goals, LQA, Forbes and TrustYou
Familiar with daily, monthly and yearly financial goals
Actively and effectively contributes to the achievement of financial goals
– All issues and negative guest feedback must be properly reported on the Glitch system
– Continue to open and close checklists
Maintains HACCP & FIFO standards as required by the regional governing body
– Dealing with financial procedures according to the guidelines set by the financial department
Responsible for connecting all aspects of service, kitchen and entertainment
– Responsible for day-to-day operations
Handles security incidents and guest complaints in a confident and professional manner and reports them in a timely manner to the direct supervisor
-Assist daily briefings for all employees before shift start
Ensure that all appropriate equipment is available for each service period
Assist restaurant manager with exercises, grooming checks and temporary labor selection (if required)
Must be creative, confident and willing to think outside the box
Follow the personal development plan established by the immediate supervisor
Ensure that the operating stock is always accounted for and in immaculate condition
Ensure that the outlet is maintained at the highest levels
