Responsibilities and duties

Responsible for all room inquiries, reservations, confirmations, cancellations and operating yield management to ensure highest rates and occupancy are achieved.
Communicate with the front office, sales team and senior management.
Operating an effective reservation management to ensure the highest occupancy rate.
– Rates of return to ensure the highest possible rates.
Responsible for all individual, corporate, fitness and group bookings.
– Negotiate rates with guests, businesses and travel agents as required.
Ensure that all reservations are completed.
Responsible for all room inquiries, reservations, administration, deposits, payments and follow-ups.
Monitor websites for incoming reservations.
Monitor future availability in order to set up prices to be sold on the intranet and on websites and open/close availability as needed.

Monitor daily availability and inform the front office of the best selling prices.
– Run queue on busy days to ensure maximum occupancy
– Record interruptions on busy appointments.
No-show bookings follow-up fees.
– Show potential customers around the hotel.
– Perform various duties related to the job as assigned.
Be aware and share all knowledge related to competitor activity with Deputy i/c RDV, Pricing Manager, Sales Coordinator and Sales Manager.
Liaise with the Sales and Marketing Department in preparing the annual rates and reviewing the monthly/annual goals.
Ensure that all emails are answered on a daily basis.
– When necessary, follow up on reservations and send an apology if necessary.
– Conduct regular checks for future bookings.
Submit any reports requested by the General Manager/Deputy Manager/Sales Manager.
Attending relevant promotional/PR events when required.
Briefing all heads of business departments with books on a daily basis.
