Madrid, November 29 (BNA) The Secretary-General of the House of Representatives and the Executive Committee of the Parliamentary Delegation, Counselor Rachid Bendjema, congratulated the Secretary-General of the Moroccan House of Representatives, Najib El Khadi, on his election as President of the Association of Parliamentary Secretaries-General (ASGP).
The elections were held on the sidelines of the 143rd Assembly of the Inter-Parliamentary Union, hosted by Spain.
Counselor Bou Nijma said that the election of Al-Khadi to the post is an Arab achievement, noting that the Arab presidency of the Arab Association for Africa is a source of pride because it will enhance the position of Arab parliaments in international parliamentary gatherings.
He praised Al-Khadi’s long experience, dedication and effective presence during regional and international parliamentary meetings, wishing him success.
