Madrid, November 29 (BNA) Parliament Speaker Fawzia bint Abdullah Zainal, head of the parliamentary delegation participating in the 143rd session of the General Assembly of the Inter-Parliamentary Union, stressed the important role of Bahrain’s youth and the world in shaping a better future for all. She pointed out that support for the “I say yes to youth in Parliament” campaign launched by the Inter-Parliamentary Union last June is in line with Bahrain’s vision, which is inspired by the visions of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa.
The Speaker of the House of Representatives stressed that the royal vision attaches great importance to young people, as they are the pillar of national development. She emphasized the efforts made to integrate their aspirations into the mainstream of government institutions’ strategies and plans. She stressed the government’s keenness, under the leadership of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, to empower young people and integrate their needs and aspirations into national plans.
The Speaker of the House of Representatives praised the efforts of His Highness Sheikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, representative of His Majesty the King for humanitarian work and youth affairs, in enhancing the role of youth in the development process.
