Representatives Council keen to cooperate with executive branch during state budget discussions

Manama, Apr. 6 (BNA): During the discussion of a draft law approving the state’s general budget for the fiscal years 2023, the Parliament’s office affirmed the parliament’s keenness to enhance fruitful cooperation with the executive authority. 2024.

During its meeting here today, chaired by Chairman of the Board of Directors Ahmed bin Salman Al-Musallam, the office affirmed keenness to invest positive economic results during the budget discussion for the benefit of the country and the citizen.

The office affirmed that the parliament’s continuous approach stems from the directives of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and with the support of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, in coordination with the Shura Council. The Council and partnership with the private sector and various social sectors, teamwork and higher national interests in order to achieve more progress and prosperity for the Kingdom within the framework of the process of comprehensive development of the monarchy.
