Manama, November 17 (BNA) The Arabian Horse Show Committee of the Bahrain Royal Equestrian and Endurance Federation (BREEF) announced the opening of registration for the National Day Arabian Horse Show, which will be held from December 2 to 4, 2021, coinciding with the Kingdom’s celebrations of the National Day.
It will include two categories: horses of the Egyptian breed and the Bahrain National Championship.
This event comes in line with the vision of His Highness Sheikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Representative of His Majesty the King for Humanitarian Action and Youth Affairs and Honorary President of the BREEF Foundation, to organize various championships for Arabian horses.
The Federation, headed by His Highness Sheikh Isa bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, President of BREEF, is keen to support owners and stables to record successful entries and to organize tournaments perfectly.
In this regard, BREEF stressed the importance of providing the information required for the registration process, including the horse’s passport, payment of the registration fee, and a copy of the smart card of the owner, exhibitor or manager of the stud, where the registration will take place. The Federation has allocated the following categories to participate in the show:
The foals are a year old. (born October 1, 2020-May 23, 2021)
Two year old foals. (Born October 1, 2019 to September 30, 2020).
Three year old fillies. (Born October 1, 2018 to September 30, 2019)
Are four years old and over mares and stallions. (born before October 1, 2018)
Brave explained that the Arabian horse shows and championships have occupied their place on the international scene, adding that they represent an opportunity for the stables and their owners to show their production and win the admiration of everyone with the elegance and beauty that distinguishes mares and horses, as the shows and championships of Arab beauty horses in the Kingdom witness a wide participation from various stables.
