Job description and summary
It takes talented people to support the largest professional services organization in the world. Our recruitment team works to identify and attract talent to PwC. You will focus on engaging the most qualified candidates by building relationships with job seekers, while understanding the dynamic recruitment needs of each business unit within the company’s Internal Services (IFS). Our team recruits full-time employees at all levels, from experienced to executives, as well as time-limited, contingent and flexible talent and supports the internal movement process between roles.

Responsibilities:

As a Recruitment Assistant, you will work closely with the Director and senior colleagues on the IFS Recruitment team to support key business units in the resource and administrative needs of staffing. This includes managing data, opening job applications, preliminary screening of candidates, supply management, hiring candidates and subcontractors, and keeping our ATS up to date.

The ideal candidate will be thorough and accurate when completing assignments, and consistently deliver the highest quality work. In high stress situations, ‘quick wins’ and short deadlines will be required.

Recruitment process:

– Coordination of recruitment for high-volume roles; Understand business needs and manage multiple deadlines when it comes to order management, update master data on time, use multiple tools available to organize and simplify team recruitment processes (Google Sheets, Excel, PowerBI, Workday etc.)
Conduct introductory calls and HR interviews with shortlisted candidates and prepare summaries to share with the hiring manager
Develop and enhance value propositions for PwC personnel within the recruitment process.
Ensure that candidate information is updated on the internal system throughout the process and manage the interview feedback process for interviews on the system
Strategic Projects: Work closely with the regional recruitment team to work on initiatives related to new operations, stakeholder management, team skills development, etc.
– The task of the project is usually decided by the team leader, based on bandwidth and efficiency, but ideas are always welcome!

Update applications and candidate information on team trackers and in-house applicant tracking system to ensure they are relevant to stakeholders’ daily updates

Ensures cost-effective options are explored by maximizing the use of tools and automation available to us and thus saving working hours

Delivers high-quality data and reports recruitment progress to key stakeholders and supports the recruitment team in effective ways to manage administrative recruitment tasks

Develops and enhances PwC’s people value proposition within the hiring process.
Conducting an initial interview and testing the candidates using the competency-based standard recruitment model and using the psychometric test within the selection.
Manages end-to-end recruitment processes in line with the global standards and standards of PricewaterhouseCoopers.
Collects data for timely recruitment reporting needs

– Updating and maintaining large files of candidate information while maintaining the highest confidentiality

Learn internal processes and use technical capabilities with global best practices to bridge gaps or bring about change

requirements:

More than 2 years experience in recruitment or recruitment coordination is necessary
Knowledge of HR best practices and processes
– Professional services and/or experience and knowledge of Big 4 are essential
Experience in sourcing candidates with experience in professional services, internationally as well as across the Middle East is essential
Previous experience of an HR specialist with an understanding of the employee life cycle, including recruitment and onboarding would be preferable
It is preferable to know the labor laws
Experience and proficiency in recruitment technology is essential
– Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Strong customer service orientation with the ability to use patience and diplomacy to handle issues
– Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or Business Administration
– Fluency in spoken and written English, and Arabic is an advantage
