Promoting peace, coexistence among HM King’s priorities: King’s Advisor

Rabat, June 11 (BNA) His Majesty’s Advisor for Diplomatic Affairs, Sheikh Khalid bin Ahmed bin Mohammed Al Khalifa, affirmed that consolidating the values ​​of coexistence and peace between countries and peoples and supporting dialogue. Aiming at achieving rapprochement and mutual understanding is one of the most important priorities and pillars of the policies of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa.

Sheikh Khalid bin Ahmed also praised the constant interest of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, to establish joint action and collective cooperation based on respect for pluralism, communication and fruitful openness to different peoples and cultures. .

His Majesty, in his speech before the opening session of the “Tangier Dialogue” hosted by Morocco, with the participation of senior officials and decision-makers from the region and many countries around the world, affirmed that Bahrain and Morocco have had for several centuries. They agreed on a wise and firm policy based on equality of rights and duties among their peoples, as well as non-discrimination on any religious, ethnic and intellectual basis among members of their communities.

He explained that they are working together to enhance security, peace and stability in the region by spreading the culture of coexistence, dialogue and understanding as basic principles of joint action, adding that they seek to enhance rapprochement and communication between the countries of the region in a way that benefits everyone and meets the aspirations of peoples for progress and prosperity.

Sheikh Khalid bin Ahmed reviewed the outstanding achievements of Bahrain in issuing laws and legislation that support social coexistence and protect it from everything that may affect its solid heritage.

He pointed out that promoting the values ​​of coexistence, dialogue and openness are among the basic pillars of His Majesty the King’s reform reform project, and one of the most important features of the authentic Bahraini identity, as confirmed by the National Action Charter and the Constitution.

His Majesty’s advisor extended his sincere thanks to the Minister of Foreign Affairs, African Cooperation and Moroccans Abroad, Nasser Bourita, and all those in charge of the “Tangier Dialogue”, wishing the participants success in achieving the objectives of the event, namely: consolidating a culture of peace, coexistence and dialogue among all countries and societies.
